Our season runs from the second Saturday in May to October 15th. Bookings in May, June, September and October are a minimum of 2 night stay. All bookings in July & August are by the week only.

We are able to keep low rental rates by requiring that all renters leave their cottages as clean as it was upon arrival. There is a $35 charge for pets at Mainland Cottages, other cottages do not permit pets, there will be a $60 fee applied if there is any sign of pets.
Parking – Limited parking at all cottages, please ask our staff at the marina regarding extra parking for off property rentals. One parking space is reserved per Mainland Cottage, if you have additional vehicles, please advise marina staff. All boat trailers are to be parked at our service building located at 883 Spring Street in the Village of Charleston. NO trailers permitted on the lawn at the marina. Parking is very limited in Charleston, you my park behind our Mainland cottages if there is space available, extra parking is available on the street up the hill.
Garbage & Recycling – All garbage and recycling must be brought to the marina at the end of your stay. Nothing is be be left in or outside of the cottage. Garbage days are Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. It is greatly appreciated if you could bring your disposables on the evenings of Sunday, Tuesday and Friday so we can make an early morning run to disposal site. We have a garbage and recycling room here at the marina in which everything is clearly labeled. Please sort the recycling as posted. If guidelines are not followed, we will be forced to charge a disposal fee per cottage.
Mainland Cottages and Lakeview Cottage are owned by the marina. Payments can be made using cash, cheque, or Interac, and are due prior to moving into your cottage.
All other advertised cottages are privately owned cottages, and not connected to the marina. The only connection between the marina and these cottages is the check-in, check-out procedure. This means that these cottage must be paid by Canadian cash or cheque, full payment is due prior to recieving the keys.
Cancellation – We do require 30 days for a cancellation as most cottages are booked a year in advance. Cancellation after the 30 day deadline will see a loss in deposit. ($150 for nightly stays, $300 for weekly stays).
