Cottage Information
Our season runs from the second Friday in May to October 15th. Bookings in May, June, September and October are a minimum of 3 night stay. All bookings in July & August are by the week only.
Check-out not after: 10AM Check-in not before: 1PM ($60 late fee and / or cleaning fee will be applied)
All rates are subject to applicable taxes. All rates are subject to change.
We are able to keep low rental rates by requiring that all renters leave their cottages as clean as it was upon arrival. There is a $40 charge for pets at all cottages there will be a $100 fee applied if there is any sign of pets without notifying us prior to your stay.
Lakefront Cottages and Lakeview Cottage are owned by Lakeline Lodge & Marina. Payments can be made using cash, cheque, or Interac, and are due prior to moving into your cottage.
The decision to rent accommodations and use of all facilities / appliances / rental boats (including use of BBQ, internet, phone, electrical appliances) are entirely at the renters risk. No responsibility can be accepted by Lakeline Lodge & Marina Ltd. or its employees for any event resulting in death, injury, loss of personal property or damage whatsoever to the renter or his/her guests personal property.
Parking
Limited parking at all cottages, please ask our staff at the marina regarding extra parking for off property rentals. One parking space is reserved per Lakefront Cottage, if you have additional vehicles, please advise marina staff (parking is not guaranteed for additional vehicles). All boat trailers are to be parked at our service building located at 883 Spring Street in the Village of Charleston. NO trailers permitted on the lawn at the marina. Parking is very limited in Charleston, you my park behind our Lakefront cottages if there is space available, extra parking is available on the street up the hill.
Garbage & Recycling
All garbage and recycling must be brought to the marina at the end of your stay. Nothing is be be left in or outside of the cottage. Garbage days are Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. It is greatly appreciated if you could bring your disposables on the evenings of Sunday, Tuesday and Friday so we can make an early morning run to disposal site. We have a garbage and recycling room here at the marina in which everything is clearly labeled. Please sort the recycling as posted. If guidelines are not followed, we will be forced to charge a disposal fee per cottage.
Cancellation
1 and 30 days prior to arrival = no reimbursement. 31 and 45 days prior to arrival = 50% or reservation deposit. In the event of a ‘no show’ the guest will forfeit deposit. A reservation deposit of $350.00CDN is required at the time of booking. The balance is due upon arrival. No reservations to guests under 25 years of age. For insurance and safety purposes the number of individuals sleeping in the rental cottage must not exceed the number confirmed by the sleeping capacity. Failure to comply with this term will result in terminating the agreement.
